Delighting in the Lord, and Desires are Being Met! 5-4-25

Way back in the 1990’s, I envisioned having a large house that would have scriptures in each room. Well, that did not happen. However, when moving from place to place, somehow, there was an accumulation of pictures. And so, on that were stored. Despite me moving from place to place the pictures were still in my possession.

I didn’t know at the time that the Lord was giving me the desires of my heart, as I continued to delight myself in Him (Psalm 37:4). Don’t think for one minute that this saying I am perfect; God looks at the heart in spite of human weaknesses (1 Samuel 16:7).

Once I transitioned to New Jersey, senior housing is where the Lord for me to reside, and the blessings of being here has caused me to be overwhelmed with Joy (Nehemiah 8:10B).

After being here, several more pictures and anything else that were Biblically related, has been accumulated. Many of the previous ones as well as the more recent ones were given to me, praise the Lord!

This is something that really could be mind-boggling! With a smaller place to live, instead of the big house to display my collection, the used a small apartment to display the desires of my heart. From the door handle to the living room, dinette area, kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom, I am blessed to be surrounded with the Word.

This is a balanced situation because being surrounded by the Word of God and being wrapped up in in the Word of God go hand in hand.

Sometimes when I open my door and enter the apartment, there is such a sweet aroma that makes me sniff my nose and praise the Lord. Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your/my heart (Psalm 37:4).
