Do You Know Where You are Going? Learn Where You Came From!

History – Ancestral Line 9-25-2023

Do you know your roots? If not, it is important to know about your heritage, even if your roots are deeply embedded and keep you in bondage. Learn about them and you will experience freedom.

· Did you know that everybody on this earth is blood related? And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings (Acts 17:26). Everybody’s blood is red.

· Do you know that there are two kinds of families? God's family: But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name (John 1:12). Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God……. (1 John 3:1-2)

· And some belong to the devil – You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it (John 8:44).

God created everybody, but all of them do not belong to Him. Please stop saying “We’re all children of God”

· Did you know that there were generational curses? The curse came from Adam when He disobeyed God. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die (Genesis 2:16-17).

· Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned (Romans 5:12). Listen up! For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

Pause: If we are free from the law of sin in Christ Jesus, why do so many people who profess to be born-again say “We are sinners” That does not make any sense at all. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace (Romans 6:14). The two cannot be mixed; it’s like trying to mix oil and vinegar. They continue to separate.

· Did you know all people who are related to Jesus Christ, are no longer cursed. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (Galatians 3:13).

· Learn your biblical heritage and natural heritage like the apostle Paul did; he told what tribe of the Israelites he came from (Acts 13:16-22). We may not have extensive information about our heritage; some of our families came out of slavery and bore the slaveowners’ name. But learn as much as you and you will have a prosperous life.

· The best history that can be learned is about our Christian heritage. Do you want to go down in history? Leave something good for others to remember. Since we as children of the most High God have such a wonderful heritage, we should strive to be so full of Christ.
