My messages have not changed- Four days a week, I post Biblical messages; Saturday’s messages are about events and different people who share their story. This is to help bring a positive influence, especially when many people think and speak negatively. All in all, the messages are to encourage those who read, and hopefully they will be motivated to make a difference in someone’s life. Sunday’s message is somewhat different because it is totally Christian.

I attended the ceremony where my sister friend, and fellow laborer in the ministry was sworn in as one of our Borough council woman. From that, the next morning, this was given to me, I called her and said I am going to author a story about her involvement as a member of the council.
The Lord puts His people in dark places to be a light; not saying that others on the council are not saved, but each of them has different assignments throughout the community and report to the people once a month.
I am not sure my sister/friend has received her assignment yet, but wherever she goes there will be darkness, therefore she is assigned to be a light in the dark place the Lord will send her. I am not a political person; yet I know that God has His people in different places worldwide. Jackie’s influence through the power of the Holy Spirit will set some captives free.
Letter to Jackie
Grace and peace, Jackie.
I have no greater joy than to know you are walking with the Lord and conducting yourself in a manner that is pleasing to Him (Ephesians 4:1). I give thanks and praise to the Lord God for orchestrating circumstances for His divine purpose to be fulfilled in our lives as fellow laborers in Christ. It would be an injustice not to acknowledge how the Lord used my niece, Cheryle, to introduce us to each other.
Wherever we have been in our travels, I saw consistency; you have been stable in standing firm on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ our Rock. I observed you in large crowds and even though the Lord has allowed you to be with and know people in high places, you were and still are the same. As one of the Gold Star Moms of the state of New Jersey, your commitment to veterans is steadfast. Because of the loss of your son in Iraq, your commitment to be an advocate for all veterans is commendable.
As you take on the responsibility as council woman for the Borough of Lindenwold, I have no doubt that you will faithfully serve the Lord; to whomever and whatever your assignment may.
May the Spirit of our true and living God empower you mightily in your endeavors.
With Love, Betty
