Being Healthy for the Word is Nourishing- Good for the Soul

If You are Not Hungry for God, You’re Full of Yourself 9-11-24

The reason people are not functioning in the anointing to destroy yokes is because they are operating in the flesh.’

Whatever happened to - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). And, they have not done a Romans 12:1-3;  I beseech you therefore, brothers [sisters], by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Examples- what it means to present our bodies a “Living Sacrifice” Everything that the Lord has assigned for us to do is within reason; therefore no one has an excuse. But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed. So, you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. So, take the talent from him and give it to him who has ten talents (Matthew 25:26-28).

In the Old Testament the animals were killed and laid on the altar. Under the new and better covenant, we, the children of God are “living sacrifices”

Being conformed to the world means we are acting like the people who are unsaved– Transformed, the transformation occurred when we became born again, however, we should be transformed continually with a new mindset which will cause us to progress in our walk with Father God.

Do not think more highly of yourself than you should. Since God does not have respect for persons (Romans 2:11), we are equal, regardless of how big a ministry may be; nobody is better than the other because we are all special to the Lord. That should cause us to be humble because all of us started off with the same measure of faith (on the same level). Yet, some people choose to grow closer to the Lord than others.

For instance, they are persistent and consistently involved with others through assembling with them, studying and praying with them. This also makes us accountable to each other and that keeps us on the altar of sacrifice.

This is a crucial element for ministry- Why so many ministries collapse, fall apart, and so on. These people skipped the process. They jumped ahead, didn’t get the proper training, they didn’t learn the principles that were necessary for a successful ministry. They didn’t wait for the right time. Evidently they forgot that this walk was not about the focus being on them, but it’s about God and Him being glorified!
