Shout it from the top of the Roof!
There has been so much disagreement among the people of God when it comes to certain scriptures. Why don’t we just swallow pride, dig more into the Word of God, look up verses that relate support and connect with that particular verse and keep in in the proper context.
Also look for key words; how is it relevant for today instead of singling out one verse that can be highly misunderstood. This is the proper way to divide the Word of Truth, instead of wrongly diving it. Understanding the culture, language and history is crucial.
When that is done, the real truth will come with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pride will make us think with our own mindset rather than thinking and perceiving what God says. After all His ways and thoughts are so much higher and different than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
In the Christian society women have been looked down upon as lower class. And that is shameful. I have a ministry, and have experienced the snub when it comes to some male preachers.
Mary the mother of Jesus (female) was first to carry the Word that came from her womb. It was another Mary (female) who carried the good news that Jesus had resurrected from the dead. The role of females are extremely important. However, there is a difference in the role (position) of male and female.
God never intended for men to be better or greater than women, it’s just a difference in their roles. Man needs woman and woman needs man. God spoke to both of them. God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth. (Genesis 1:28). Both of them had responsibilities, although they were different.
However, God has a divine order; He made man first for a reason. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man (Genesis 2:22). This stands to reason why the man is in charge.
Listen up! God is Spirit but He is addressed in the masculine gender (John 4:24). To those who are born again, He is our Father; we are to address with the highest respect and reverence Him and Him alone. Therefore, do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:8-10).
Jesus the Son is masculine- Mary brought forth a Son. So, all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS (Matthew 1:21-14).
It is written in the holy Word that the Holy Spirit is always in the masculine gender. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. But when the Holy Spirit comes, He (John 14:26).
It is a fact that the man is stronger- Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7).
Hold on to your hats and brace yourselves, because I am going somewhere with this to bring about a clear understanding. But you will have to wait until tomorrow (smile)!
