I Didn’t Find Jesus; He Found Me. Because He Wasn’t Lost. I was. Amen 11-7-24

Updated: Nov 7

This statement is so erroneous that it is shameful. Whoever says that they found Jesus truly has a lack of understanding when it comes to salvation.

No one seeks after Jesus. There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God (Romans 3:11). You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you (John 15:16). For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10).

In the book of Jeremiah when the Word says: Seek Me and you shall find Me if you search after Me with your whole heart; it is referring to God’s people (meaning they belong to God) - (Jeremiah 29:13). This scripture also connects, supports, and relates to the verse in Jeremiah: I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me (Proverbs 8:17).

I encourage anyone who has made that statement to stop, because it makes you look foolish and definitely unlearned. I am rephrasing! No one seeks after God, and how can someone lost seek after Jesus? When you’re lost you don’t know the way.
