Jesus Said: “I Never Knew You” 12-6-24

I am writing these messages at this time because this is the right season, so you will not go into 2025 with the same mindset. This is not for a New Year’s Resolution; but you can purpose in your heart to come out of your old way of thinking when it come to the tradition and erroneous doctrine of men.

This is another message that some Bible scholars and preachers say the persons whom Jesus addressed were going to hell. It is based on the words: “I never knew you” I am going to prove according to the Word of God how that cannot be true.

The word “knew” has a two-fold meaning. In Jeremiah 1:5, the Lord said: “Before I formed you in your mother’s womb, I knew you” This is talking about relationship. In other words, God had a relationship with those who were/are called by His foreknowledge.

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:29-30).

Another New Testament scripture brings out more confirmation; remember that God confirms His Word: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained [predestined] that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).

When it comes to the scripture in Matthew, this means that Jesus didn’t know their works. Why? Because they were not called to do those things mentioned in the verse. They were wide-road, (carnal) Christians operating in the flesh, and their works will be burned, yet they are saved (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

Jesus never knew their works-

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ [evil] (Matthew 7:21-23).

Jesus had to be talking to born again believers, because this was at the judgment seat of Christ, which is for the children of God only, there are two judgments.

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish (Psalm 1:1, 5-6).

So, then each of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12),   For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10), But there shall by no means enter anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).

All the unsaved will  be at the Great white throne judgment.  Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death (Revelation 20:11-14).

I am concerned about the children of God getting an understanding. It is sad when any Christian to continue quoting scriptures erroneously.
