Last Day of 2023- “Recapping”
· From 2005 until this present time – nothing happening – wanted to give up but was encouraged by some loving and caring people who believed in the vision God gave me.
· I have been on Facebook since 2009, wanted to get off because of so much negativity and ungodliness, but the Spirit of God kept prompting me to stay on Facebook. In April 2011, He told me to start writing and posting messages. I did not obey right away; it was Sept 2012 when I yielded to the Spirit of God.
· In May 2013 I was asked by someone I had a blog; the answer was yes and the person encouraged me to post my messages on Burnett Ministries blog. To my surprise, the messages went global, just like the Spirit of God said it would.

· 2023 – I had various diagnoses pertaining to my since relocating to New Jersey. Two of those diagnoses were never dealt with while I was still living in North Carolina (hypercalcemia and third stage three kidney disease, being monitored by nephrologist).
· Additional diagnoses in 2022 and 2023- surgical procedure on an infected toe (podiatrist); therapy for my shoulder and later on, another therapy for arthritis in my knee, and what topped all of these was being diagnosed with stage one breast cancer. I am also scheduled to see an endocrinologist in March.
Whew, what a year, especially 2023. But through it all, the Lord kept me and He gave me the physical strength and spiritual empowerment to keep it moving, praise God!
There are three scriptures I am using pertaining to what has transpired in my ministry (Burnett Ministries).

But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
I hope the wait that I went through to get to this place in the ministry will be an example to someone when it comes to going into ministry. Although the call is there, please don’t rush; get some training. Jesus trained (taught) His disciples and that is a principle that has to work for everyone in order to have good success. In other words, your ministry will soar when it is done God’s way.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain! So, God granted him what he requested (1 Chronicles 4:10).
Many people were this scripture and saying God was going to enlarge their territory. But they didn’t think about the pain Jabez went through. We also must go through some trials, tribulations, persecutions and be able to endure whatever the Lord allows to come our way.

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18-19).
When God said He was going to do a new thing, it was not to Him, but it is new to us. After all I went through God elevated my ministry to the next level. This was and is a new thing to me. These are two major points to remember.

1) Faithfulness is required – He rewards the faithful.

2) Obedience - When the Spirit of God prompts us to do something, do it knowing you will be a blessing to others, God will be glorified and you will have satisfaction in doing the will of God. 2023 was a stormy year for me but it ended up with rays of sunshine!

Just recently, it was Facebook that the Lord used as the platform to enlarge my territory. That’s why I’m pressing on to higher ground by the power of the Spirit of God.
