Once We Hear the Word of God We are Responsible for Obeying it 3-19-25

Never think that there are not consequences for obeying the Word of God. It is factual that God is not as lenient (tolerant) as He is when we are more mature. He does expect babies to grow and the more they grow, the more responsible they are.

It’s the same with parents; they don’t treat babies the same as they do the older children, but as babies grow, they are more responsible.

How does anyone grow? They are taught (trained). How are they trained? By what they hear and see, and this is ongoing throughout their lives. How does any of God’s children grow? By what they see and hear. With us it is called ever increasing or growing faith. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), and we learn by our experiences.

Now to the point. The people of God hear the Word on a regular basis by many means. The Word is accessible through social media, zoom, Tv, podcast and various other means, therefore no Christian has a reason not to grow, at least in some way.

The reason I said, they grow in some way is this, if principles are not taught, spiritual growth is limited. FACT!

Some hear the Word and they are not open to the truth. This is serious! The Word of God says: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge (Hosea 4:6 a). Destroyed in this verse means to suffer loss.

These people didn’t/don’t have knowledge because they were/are not open to it and they did/will not receive the greater blessings that the Lord had/has for them. In other words, they were/are missing all the abundant blessings during this time. And their joy was/is not full -  “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. And the abiding peace is not there.

And their joy is not full -

“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full." And the abiding peace is not there.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You (Isaiah 26:3). How is anyone’s mind stayed on the Lord when they are not listening or open to hear His Word regardless of they way or whom God sends it through. Those who rejects those God sends, also reject Him.

My brothers and my sisters, this is the Word of God for His people.
