The D Day That Shall Never Be Forgotten

Remembering September 11, 2001

To some, twenty five years doesn’t seem like a long time, but to those who were closely affected by the loss of loved ones may seem like forever; of the devastating events that took place on a day that will always be remembered.

As for me, that day of horrible events and what was happening as I watched it on TV, it seemed like something that is seen in a movie. It was an unimaginable experience. I also knew people who were working in the area on that day and how the Lode allowed them to escape the terrible catastrophic moments and spared their lives.

I often asked someone who was working in the area to tell me again about what seemed to be “Doom’s day” Thank the Lord she didn’t mind telling me each time I asked her. Also, my cousin in Virginia’ friend and neighbor lost her brother on that “Terrible Day” at the twin towers. During my visits to Virginia, she would come to my cousin’s house to fellowship and the story of the horrible day that affected her would be shared.

I believe that was an experience that affected people far and near and will never be forgotten. As we commemorate 911, let’s never forget those who suffered and died senselessly because others whose hearts were evil.
