I was reading from “Our Daily Bread” and this scripture spoke to me. In thinking about being a “Rising Senior” that scripture ministered to me. I was taught to personalize scriptures especially when they seem to be talking directly to us.

So, I feel that the Lord was saying, “Listen to Me Betty, I have upheld you from your birth; who have been carried from the womb: Even in your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will sustain you”
The original text - “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been upheld by Me from birth, who have been carried from the womb: Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you (Isaiah 46:3-4).

As I searched other scriptures that connected, supported, and related to Isaiah 46:3-4:
He grants the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children (Psalm 113:9).
I do not have any biological children, but the Lord has given me many spiritual children, which are truly a blessing to e and it gives me so much joy to be a mother of many, and to help train them in their spiritual walk.
Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:1-2, 4b-5). I praise the Lord God for keeping me energized and youthful despite my older age- A” Rising Senior.”
I thank the Lord for renewed strength. But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). I wake up with readiness, and a zeal looking forward to every opportunity to give Him glory by being a blessing to everyone I come in contact with.
I’m going to work (minister) until my day is done!
