Butterflies Protect Themselves to Survive; Saints are Given Power to Protect Themselves in Spiritual Warfare

The Two Similarities- the likeness of the butterfly and humans is amazing!

When I saw the description of  the butterfly, it definitely reminded me of us humans, especially from the Christian perspective. As was written on the last message, AI came up with the answer I was looking for definitely confirmed that for which I was searching. It is amazing how God uses certain aspects of nature that is similar to us.

Example- Have you ever seen the trees and bushes when the wind is high? I consider swaying back and forth as a form of praise. Didn't the Word of God say: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord? Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 150:6).Don’t plants have life? Ain’t no rocks gonna cry for me, I’m gonna praise God because He is too good not to praise Him!

AI -To survive the various dangers they face, butterflies employ several strategies: Camouflage: Many butterflies have wing patterns that blend into their surroundings to avoid predators.

Mimicry: Some species mimic the appearance of toxic butterflies to deter predators.

Flight agility: Their ability to fly quickly and erratically helps them evade threats.

Habitat selection: They choose habitats that provide  shelter and food sources, reducing exposure to dangers.

Me- We are in spiritual warfare against evil forces who are our enemies, and the Lord has given us the tools to survive. We also have been empowered and equipped to win the battle, but there are strategies that are necessary.

The strategies:

1)      Camouflage- look at the camouflage clothes the soldiers wear.

2)      Flight agility- soldiers are able to move about quickly to avoid and deter their enemies.

3)      Habitat selection- soldiers have military bases that provide shelter and food and they are always alert and prepared for battle and this is the reason why:

The Whole Armor of God

Finally, my brothers [sisters], be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—(Ephesians 6:10-18).

I love butterflies and now I really can see why.

 I am a spiritual/butterfly warrior!
