XTRA, XTRA! Please take heed to these unbiblical quotes; they are undermining the Lord God our Creator. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21).
What does undermining mean?
Dictionary - the action or process of lessening the effectiveness, power, or ability of someone or something, especially gradually or insidiously (with harmful effects).
If you are truly born again, I pray conviction on all of those who are committing these serious acts against God our Father. I heard people say in the past;
“I’ve been doing or saying it this long and there is no reason to stop or change now”
There is a reason to stop saying whatever that does not line up with the Word of God; it glorifies Him!
People who misquote the scriptures have not studied the Word to see what is true. I have been there and done that; but once I learned better I did better. I haven’t arrived, yet what is revealed to me through studying, is passed on to others. This warning and correction are for the benefit of those who are guilty.
There is a vast difference between being covered by the blood and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Therefore, remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ (Ephesians 2:8-13).
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins (Hebrews 10:4).
Whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood [the ultimate sacrifice], through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed (Romans 3:25).
In the Old Testament, animal sacrifices were made for the sins of the people - Sin Offerings: Specific animals were sacrificed for different types of sins. And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull as a sin offering; thus, he shall do with it. So, the priest shall make atonement [cover over] for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
Please read Leviticus, chapter 4. Since the blood of animals could not take away sins, the people were covered which was temporary until Jesus shed His precious blood for our sins which was permanent because He cleansed us; Jesus washed away our sins.
The song: “What can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus.”
Though this is futuristic the principle is the same for all of the people of God. So, he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb” (Revelation 7:14).
We are also sealed by the Spirit of God. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption (Ephesians 4:30).
The Spirit is the Dunamis power and one we’ve been sealed by Him; He is our Guarantee that the cleansing by the blood of Jesus is permanent.
The Old Testament covering of bulls and goats kept the saints protected until Jesus died and shed His blood for our sins permanently.
THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUE AND POWERFUL!
