There is no Better Teacher Than The Holy Spirit, and No Better Text Than God’s Word. Amen. 10-7-24
When it comes to talking about who or what is best, we must see that no one is greater than the God in three persons, or the three persons of the Godhead; called the Trinity or the Triune God. God, the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit- Three in One. They are not three separate entities, but three persons, functioning as on, co-equal, and always in unity.
The human body also consists of three parts; the spirit, soul, and body. One cannot exist in the earthly realm without the other; each part depends on the other.
What people need to know about the best teacher (the Holy Spirit) is this: He leads us into all truth, and He teaches us all things. Jesus said our Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you (John 14:26).
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come (John 16:13), if we allow Him to. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26). The And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: (John 16:8). In other words, the Holy Spirit wants people to see that they are wrong.
Be mindful of this, the Holy Spirit helps us with what we read and study; He is our Helper (John). But others are giving the gift and ministry to teach others. How do I know this? Here’s the answer: Some people say they don’t need no one to teach them. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him (1 John 2:27).
Although the Holy Spirit is THE Teacher, Others are called to minister and serve in the body of Christ. If that were not true, why do we have personal study (2 Timothy 2:15), Sunday school and Bible study?
Also, Jesus gave gifts to men, one was the office of teacher (Ephesians 4:11). God the Father gave the teacher ministry (gift). Can’t you see how the Triune God- the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are in complete harmony. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all (1 Corinthians 12:4-8).
This is important: The Holy Spirit can be grieved (sad) if we are not doing what He wants us to do; by the way you live (Ephesians 4:30). Since He is the power behind everything, we should not sadden Him because we will not be willing to be open to what He wants to do through us.
We should not quench the Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:9), by restricting (hindering or suppressing) His work in the body of Christ because we are not embracing the Word of God and allow His power to work in our lives to destroy yokes.
When it comes to the text (the Word of God), one can read all types of books, but all knowledge came from the Word of God, because everything started with Him (John 1:1). He is the Alpha and Omega- He is the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8). Therefore, the Bible (Word of God) is the greatest (best) book that has ever been written.
So, my friends, I urge you to allow the Holy Spirit to be your Teacher, and others God has ordained to minister, serve, and help you in that capacity. And the Word of God be your main source of information because the Holy Spirit (John 16:13), and true teachers will never give information that doesn’t line up with the Word of God.
