What if Christ Had Not Risen From the Dead 11-19-25

Jesus had to rise from the dead in order for anyone to be saved (1 Corinthians 15:1-9). If Christ had not risen from the dead, everyone would be miserable (1 Corinthians 15:12-19).
Why would everyone be miserable?
Adam’s sin brought death on everyone; just like we are heirs to salvation because of Jesus Christ the last Adam, we also inherited sin and death (Romans 5:12). For the wages or payment for sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
BUT! God had a plan! From His perspective, which is clear (perfect).
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, are your ways My ways,”
says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Whereas our ways are clouded (not clear), so from our natural (carnal) way of thinking we see things as they are because we live in time and in a fallen world. God is eternal- He has always been and always will be; He is not confined to space or time. Since we have become spiritual people (born again), we must think like spiritual people.
In other words, we are to think like our Father God thinks from His perspective; which takes faith! Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:1, 6).
Now to God’s plan: God knew us before the foundation of the world.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).
To know someone means to be in a relationship with them. God not only knew us by relationship, but our gift/s were also there.
This teaching is deeper (but not too deep) than what has been preached instead of taught) for so many years (some considered that they were taught these principles, but there is no evidence of people understanding.
For instance, in Romans 8:28-30; everything is already done when it comes to God. That’s why He sees us differently than we see ourselves. Also, Jesus was never hidden in the scriptures; He was seen through types and shadows of things to come (Colossians 1:17).

The Old Testament saints were looking toward the cross, for Jesus to deliver them from bondage. Moses delivered the people of God (Israelites out of Egypt- Moses was a type of Jesus). We look back at what He has already done for us; Jesus brought salvation though His death burial and resurrection. He delivered us from sin and death (bondage).
Do you not remember that all we who are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, are baptized to die with him? We are buried with him by baptism in order to die, so that in the same way as Christ was raised up from death by the glory of the Father, we also may walk in a new life (Romans 6:3-5).
