What Happened to the Power in the Church? 3-31-26

The Lifeless church is a church without power and cannot see.
I have been sharing with others about how grievous it is that the gifts are not functioning in the church. I have known about my gifts for many years and in the early years of walking with Christ, some were quite prevalent and they were recognized by a few others.
It was prophesied to me around 1985 that I would not be in one place (church); that the Lord would have me in different places. Not long after the prophecy, I became a member of a non-denominal Pentecostal church, and it was there the Spirit put a prophetess in my life who helped me to grow in the gift. Afterward, I relocated to Camden, New Jersey.
The first gift that I remember operating in was the word of knowledge -telling someone facts about themselves that could only be known by the Lord. Also, intercessory prayer became a vital part of my life; at first I didn’t realize it was under the gift of helps (1 Corinthians 12:28).
The most outstanding times the gifts were used was when I resided in Camden, New Jersey from 1990-1994. Both evangelist and prophetic gifts were noticeable, although the churches had no power, the power of God moved through me quite a few times. Because some people did not understand the gifts, I was misunderstood.
After moving to Camden another person prophesied that the Lord would send me to leaders to correct them. This happened numerous times. When the Spirit revealed what to say and who to warn or bring correction to, I obeyed. Initially I would yell the leader/s “I don’t want to tell you this, but I’m going to be obedient to the Lord”
At the time I had not been licensed and ordained into ministry, yet for many years my logo was/is “Send me Lord, I’ll go” (Isaiah 6:8). My ministry website states that those connected to Burnett Ministries function in several of the gifts, and as evangelist/prophetess, I am graced to help others discover and grow in their gifts (Ephesians 4:11-16).
I am concerned because some of the churches that I have been and still affiliated with had no power. But eventually it was addressed to a couple of leaders, and this is what was told to me
“Some of the gifts were no longer necessary; they were there initially to authenticate the church”
That is Ridiculously Absurd!!! I pray that their eyes will be open to the TRUTH! Why would some cease to exist and the others are still there. This doesn't make any sense at all.
They don’t accept apostles and prophets, and they don’t understand that missionaries are not in the Word of God; they are either apostles who establish churches along with the prophet who can detect any demonic activity, or evangelists (Ephesians 4:11) who have the grace to function with miracles with signs and wonders following.
Instead of saying apostles they say Church planters; absolutely ridiculous! Who gives anybody the right to change what the Word of God says?
People, this was “UNBELIEVABLE!” This is what came from my mouth “If those gifts are not for today, they must think I’m from the devil,” I function in the prophetic as well as call of evangelist.”
Many signs, wonders and miracles cannot happen because of peoples’ unbelief.
Jesus couldn’t heal some because of their unbelief. Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them (Mark 6:5).
Next- Grieving and Quenching the Holy Spirit of God!
