This story/testimonial and words of wisdom is one that cannot be overlooked or ignored. Whenever the Lord orchestrates circumstances for me to be involved in, it is to be shared with others to encourage and make them think about their lives. That is, the Lord could be using it as an exhortation to motivate others to keep moving forward in their walk with Christ.

It also could be a warning for someone to look at themselves and see if God is using that to bring conviction; meaning they could be guilty of what is being conveyed.

On Thursday, May 22nd, our oldest member of the Senior Center where I attend made an announcement that was shocking and it saddened many of our hearts. The announcement: “Today will be my last day at the center; I will be moving to ………,” another township, about forty-eight minutes from Lindenwold.

She wanted to share a story/testimony which I consider words of wisdom to us: “Many years ago, I grew up in Camden and my ………. mistreated me and refused to raise me. Later in life I went to enquire about my ………. and was told that she had dementia. I went to visit her and she did not recognize me.

I ended up taking care of her until she passed. The moral of this is, be careful how you treat people, because you never know when you will need them”

People, that testimony was so profound that it is still ringing in my head and it really gave me something to think about. The bottom line is this, everybody reaps what they sow, whether good or bad (Galatians 6:7). The late Charles Stanley said it like this: “You will reap more than what you sowed, and later than what you sowed.”

In other words, no matter how long it takes which could years, sowing evil will come back to haunt you.  Brothers and sisters let’s take heed to the words of wisdom from the ninety-seven year woman of God. Words of wisdom from me: “The flip side of the coin is this; sow good and it definitely is coming back greater than what you sowed”

Thanks to each of the seniors who joined in the prayer of blessings and protection over the life of such an awesome woman of “wisdom." She will certainly be missed, and memories of her will remain in our hearts.

After “Memorial Day” I plan to share my own story of “Sowing and Reaping” the good, bad, and ugly side.
