Facts Are Examples the World Needs

The World is Changed by Your Example, Not by Your Opinion 8-13-24

Thanks be to the Lord for my brother in Christ and teacher of Burnett Ministries for sending me images that messages can be developed from.

When it comes to someone’s opinion, that is not worth a heel of beans. What does your opinion mean anyway?  It could mean anything. For instance, one could be living ungodly and profess to be born-again, but they will use some cop-out to justify what they are doing.

People could have different opinions when it comes to the Word of God, which is based on facts (truth). The definition of opinion from Merriam-Webster dictionary- a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter. The world is changed by God’s truth only.

Example of someone’s opinion – from the internet

Public Opinion on Abortion

Views on abortion by religious affiliation, 2024

About three-quarters of White evangelical Protestants (73%) think abortion should be illegal in all or most cases. By contrast, 86% of religiously unaffiliated Americans say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, as do 71% of Black Protestants, 64% of White nonevangelical Protestants and 59% of Catholics.

Definition of abortion- the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Some say the fetus is not a real person until a certain time after conception, but that’s not true. The moment a child is conceived, it is a person (human being).

What does the Word of God say? The Lord God gave Moses ten commandments to write: one was you shall not kill (Exodus 20:13).

What kind of example are ‘quote on quote’ setting?  Murder Begins in the Heart

People are being opinionated when it comes to abortion, but what did Jesus say?

You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.

But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment. And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire (Matthew 5:21-22).

The solution to what the Word of God says is forgiveness- I hear this on a regular basis, “Sin is sin”

The bottom line is this, which is worse? Someone committing the physical act or what is in the heart. The Word of God says: For as he thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7a)

Thanks be to the Lord God Almighty that those in captivity (bondage) are being set free (Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18).
